meditation

«The thing about meditation is:
You become more and more you»

It is important for us that every guest who comes to our performances finds the strength to open a window for the fresh breath of life.
To discover a new path, one must step away from the old road.

The greatest barriers and obstacles in our lives lie within ourselves.

Our project is created for audiences interested in contemporary theatre and choreography.

It is an invitation to embark on a journey within oneself — to discover not only new horizons of thought but also new landscapes of feeling.

“Meditation” was created as a bridge between art and the inner world, offering a chance to rethink the familiar and to find harmony and freedom. Isn’t this exactly what everyone needs right now?!

ABOUT
WHAT IS
meditation
Is it peace and silence, or perhaps a force that awakens the inner voice?

It calls us to pause and look within, to feel each breath, each movement as part of something greater. Meditation comes when we are ready for it, guiding us to a place where silence becomes music and movement turns into revelation.
The play is based on a philosophical story about a person (each of us) who is in search of the meaning of life and inspiration.
Journeying through the ten principles rooted in Osho’s philosophy helps one to discover their own truth and inner freedom
And the power of deep and multi-layered music allows us to touch the roots and the lost past, restoring the connection with ourselves and our heritage

The philosophy of meditation is revealed through the the body, where each movement becomes an expression of profound inner silence and mindfulness, while the dynamics of the dance embody the gentle flow of thoughts and energy, uniting mind, body, and surrounding space into a single ritual of self-discovery.

CHOREOGRAPHY

Is it peace and silence, or perhaps a force that awakens the inner voice?
Here, dance is freed from boundaries and conventions. The movements of the performers, inspired by ancient pagan imagery and contemporary techniques, transform into a kind of bodily meditation, where the focus is placed on a profound inner awareness of body and space.
The choreography responds to the sonic landscape of the music, deepening the audience’s immersion into a state of inner silence and mindfulness.

MUSIC

Inspired by Russian chants, composer Ilya Dyagel created music for this project — as if woven from the silk of centuries and the velvet of silence
Here, folk motifs echoing from the distant memories of childhood transform into a delicate thread of meditative melodies, immersing the listener in a state of inner silence and concentration.
To create this unique soundscape, the artists of Forest Jam Project use rare and unusual instruments: didgeridoo, hang, Valdai and Vietnamese bells, udu, djembe, kanjira, bar chimes, rav vast, rainstick, bendir, tammattama, death whistle, and more.
